BNSF Railway has deployed OCS R2 on window 2008.

Our system has been operational since Sept. 2009. We continue to have issues with our Front End Servers. After approximatly 3 weeks of normal user activity the service begins to degrade. Users are unable to login and database connection errors show in the server event logs. CPU is normal but memory is an issue as it appears that threads are not releasing and causing the Front End service to be resource constrained.

Microsoft has been pulling data dumps on each occurance (once per month) with no resolution. We think it is a Windows 2008 issue and are considering moving the Front End servers to Windows 2003.

We have a similar issue with the Front End Servers. Moving them to Windows 2003 OS solved the problem.

Any experience with Windows 2008 and OCS that may help us??
